LEANing into Progress at Pultron

At Pultron, continuous improvement and innovation have always been part of our DNA. To us, innovation means finding a better way—something that’s been evident in our advances in research and development, and in the improved and new applications we've delivered across the composites industry over the past 40 years. Now, we’re taking that mindset a step further by fully adopting LEAN thinking.  Put simply, LEAN is a method to reduce non-value-added activities from a process so that we can add more value to our customer. It’s about refining how we work so we can focus on what matters most—product quality, consistency, and service.

Our move into deeper LEAN was inspired by one of our long-term customers, Springfree Trampoline, who is several years into their own journey and operates a truly world-class site. They have been, in turn, influenced and inspired by Seating Matters, an Irish manufacturer led by Ryan Tierney, who champions the philosophy: "Leave it better than you found it".

This mindset is something we too are beginning to adopt at Pultron—not just in our physical spaces, but in how we think about our roles, responsibilities, and impact.
