40 Years of Pultrusion Development and Manufacturing
In 1982, inventor and farmer, Peter Holdsworth built his first pultrusion machine on a farm in Gisborne. His goal was to develop and manufacture the first-ever composite electric fencepost and clip system. The system made electric fencing simpler, cheaper, and quicker to install. This became the first patent held by Pultron and led to the establishment of Pultron Composites with businesswoman, Dame Bronwen Holdsworth and a journey to redefine the possibilities of composite materials.
Fast forward 40 years and Pultron has developed world-first innovations for some of the world’s leading companies and we continue to expand our global footprint.
