LEANing into Progress at Pultron
At Pultron, we’re proud to be making real progress on our LEAN journey – an approach to continuous improvement that’s reshaping the way we work every day. Simply put, Lean is a method to reduce non value added activities from a process so that we can add more value to our customer.
“Leave it better than you found it.”
For our customers, this translates into greater efficiency, better quality control, shorter lead times, and a more responsive service. It’s about delivering on our promise to be reliable, innovative, and always improving.
How it Works at Pultron
Each day, an alarm sounds and every team member, from the CEO to the factory floor, stops for 15 minutes to clean, organise, or improve their workspace. This daily habit has created noticeable change. Our site is tidier, systems are clearer, waste is reduced, and people can find what they need quickly. Training will be faster because everything is labelled and in the right place—and it’s easier to spot things that aren’t working.
We were inspired by one of our own customers Springfree Trampoline who are seven years into their own LEAN journey—Springfree runs a world-class, well-organised operation and they live and breathe LEAN. THEY have been further inspired and influenced by Seating Matters, an Irish company led by Ryan Tierney, who promotes the philosophy: “Leave it better than you found it.”
It’s a simple idea, but it’s powerful. It means taking personal responsibility—not just for your physical environment, but for your role, your relationships, and your daily impact. We’ve found that this mindset doesn’t just boost productivity—it also lifts morale. People like to make an impact and sometimes it is simply achieving simple things that makes us feel good about ourselves and proud of where we work. Mental wellbeing improves when the environment is calm, ordered, and purposeful.
Our LEAN journey will never be ‘done’—and that’s the point. It’s a culture of continuous improvement, and the momentum is building. We’d love for you to visit and see what we’re up to. The energy is real—and so are the results.
