Pultron Expands into Western Australia with Business Development Manager Appointment

Perth, Western Australia – Pultron Composites is pleased to announce the appointment of Rohan Armitage as Business Development Manager for Western Australia. Rohan will represent Pultron's full infrastructure range across the state, including Mateenbar™ GFRP rebar, Mateen™ Rock Bolts, and Mateen™ Form Ties – bringing corrosion-free reinforcement technology to one of Australia's fastest-growing infrastructure, resources and defence markets.

Background Built for the Role

Rohan brings a varied background providing innovative product and service solutions to the manufacturing, mining, international transport logistics, construction and infrastructure sectors. His experience spans prefab modular, residential housing, construction and project logistics, having worked on major WA mining, infrastructure, housing and defence projects.

Rohan's appointment is part of Pultron's broader Australian expansion. Previously specified in Australia as a high-performing niche product for very specific applications, rising steel costs, growing demand and demand for sustainable reinforcement, combined with GFRP manufacturing improvements and the introduction of Australian Standards, have closed the gap between steel and GFRP, making it increasingly cost-competitive. With GFRP now more capital-cost competitive, asset owners are increasingly able to see the whole-of-life value provided by a material that requires little ongoing maintenance over a significantly longer lifespan.

In his new role, Rohan sees himself as an advocate and local point of contact.
